Purpose: the design of a double-barrel filter water intake well, located in one conductor and performing the functions of both a working and a backup well, has been developed.
Advantages: the well has improved operational characteristics and reliability compared to analogues.
Main characteristics: each of the columns has its own head, casing pipe for placing the pump, filter, sump. The columns are hydraulically interconnected above and below the filters by means of nozzles communicating the superfilter and subfilter cavities of wells. Feasibility study: this solution allows you to reduce the operating costs of lifting water when operating a single pump by reducing hydraulic resistance. If one of the pumps fails, the second one immediately turns on, which ensures the reliability of the water supply to the consumer.
