Purpose: the femtosecond laser pulse source is used in optical frequency standards, precision processing of materials, ultrafast spectroscopy, nonlinear optics, etc.
Advantages: The use of commercially available InGaAs pumping laser diodes ensures high generation efficiency, compactness and reduces the cooling requirements of the laser active medium.
Main characteristics: working wavelength - 1040±10nm; duration of laser pulses – 90± 5fs; pulse energy – more than 28NJ; average output power – more than 2W; optical generation efficiency is more than 38%; pulse repetition frequency is 70 ± 10 MHz; the output beam quality parameter M2 is less than 1.3. The use of SESAM absorption saturation mirrors in the developed laser provides a mode synchronization mode with high average output power, high generation efficiency and short pulse duration. The use of a quasi-off-axis longitudinal pumping scheme provides a reduction in losses in the short-wavelength region of the spectrum of the generated radiation in comparison with widespread pumping schemes.
