Purpose: modern mechanical engineering and welding production are closely related to a wide range of alternative materials - products made of technical ceramics (TC), capable of ensuring the reliability and durability of machine components and mechanisms, technological equipment operating in harsh operating conditions: high temperatures and electrical loads, pressures, friction – wear, corrosion – erosion, thermal shock, thermal cycling, redox media, etc.
Advantages: a technology has been developed for the production of import–substituting heat-resistant electrical insulation materials - products, for example, electrical insulators for the complete set: electric transmissions of UVTR 2x750 brake units of BelAZ mining dump trucks.
Main characteristics: the technology adapts to the creation of a wide range of structural materials – products for mechanical engineering and can be used:

- in the production of heat-resistant electrical insulators for spark plugs;
- thermo-shockproof electrical insulators for automatic contact welding of bimetallic tubular elements (copper – aluminum);
- electrical insulators with high electrical strength (30 – 120 kV/mm) for breakdown;
- electrical insulators for electron beam vacuum welding of thick-walled (50 – 100 mm) large-sized elements made of high-strength aluminum alloys;
- vacuum-tight heat-resistant electrical insulators for vacuum furnaces of gas-thermal high-temperature (1050oC x 10.5 hours) hardening of drilling tools in the medium of dissociated acetylene.
