Purpose: the magnetofluidic damper provides damping of vibrations of extended spatial structures (solar panels, antennas, etc.) without reliance on external objects.
Advantages: high efficiency in a wide frequency range and at small amplitudes, while the mass of the device is several times less compared to analogues.
Main features:
- Adjustable operating frequency range - (0.3-15) Hz;
- dimensions - diameter 60 mm, height 30 mm, weight – 0.14 kg.
