Purpose: the generator is used as a working body for generating electricity by rotating the rotor. It can be used for various types of wind power plants: vertical-axial, horizontal-axial, combined.
Main characteristics: when the generator winding rotates, a three-phase alternating current is induced, which is transformed into direct current by means of a control circuit. The voltage generated depends on the speed of rotation of the rotor. The maximum power of the developed generator is 2 kW. The operating range of the generator speed is 50-300 rpm. The control circuit of the generator allows you to limit the speed of rotation of the blades in strong winds when a given (maximum) induced current is reached. Cooling of generator parts (windings and permanent magnets) is provided naturally due to air circulation.
