Purpose: Calculation of the stress-strain state of structural elements and components of cylindrical equipment under conditions of creep and radiation exposure; determination of operating stresses and irreversible deformations; forecasting the life of elements of nuclear reactors and heat exchange equipment of nuclear power plants; calculations for the strength of cylindrical structural elements in extreme operating conditions; reliability and safety of technical systems, scientific foundations and methods of non-destructive testing and diagnostics of complex physical and technical systems under static and quasi-static loading.
Scope of application: in mechanical engineering and power engineering: in determining and analyzing the stress-strain state of cylindrical structural elements, as well as in predicting the resource of specific technical devices and analyzing possible mechanisms and causes of their damage in extreme operating conditions. When carrying out strength calculations in order to increase the accuracy of forecasting the resource of structural elements of equipment widely used in modern technology in the form of cylindrical bodies under extreme loading conditions. The results obtained with the help of a computer program make it possible to calculate the stress-strain state and critical loads when designing elements of power and machine-building equipment operating in extreme conditions without conducting expensive experiments and related energy and material costs.
