Carries out work to confirm the conformity of products (special protection equipment, safety equipment, building materials and products) to the requirements of the National Conformity Assessment System of the Republic of Belarus.

The scope of accreditation.

The certification body has the necessary means and documented procedures to verify the conformity of products, including:

• organizational and administrative structure, legal and economic opportunities;
• a documented management system;
• qualified and specially trained personnel;
• a set of management system documents regulating the rules and procedure for conformity assessment;
• updated fund of TNPA and information materials

Procedures and schemes for confirming the conformity of products and services are established:

• Resolution of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus No. 61 dated July 25, 2017 "On Approval of the Rules for Conformity Assessment of the National Conformity Assessment System of the Republic of Belarus";
  
• Schemes of conformity assessment of products of the National Conformity Assessment System of the Republic of Belarus: certification and declaration;
• Documents.

The certification authority conducts:

• voluntary conformity assessment within the framework of the National Conformity Assessment System of the Republic of Belarus in respect of products for which there are no requirements for mandatory conformity assessment in accordance with the scope of accreditation;
• mandatory confirmation of conformity – in the form of declaration and certification within the framework of the National Conformity Assessment System of the Republic of Belarus for products for which mandatory conformity assessment requirements are established in accordance with the scope of accreditation.
