Regenerative chirped pulse amplifier based on Yb crystal:LuAP with diode pumping

Scope of application: Regenerative amplifier is used as a source of ultrashort laser pulses for precision materials processing complexes; for excitation of forced raman scattering; for generation of terahertz radiation.

Characteristics: Regenerative amplifier of chirped laser pulses based on Yb3+ crystal:LuAP with diode pumping, provides high peak pulse power (up to units of GW) with small size and high efficiency. The developed regenerative amplifier is a unique tool for a wide range of technological, research and biomedical applications, it is a regenerative amplifier of chirped laser pulses based on a Yb crystal:LuAP with diode pumping.

  • The average output power of the Rf radiation is > 5W; 
  • Pulse duration tim < 200fs;
  • Pulse repetition frequency f = 1-500kHz; 
  • Type of cooling system – liquid with a closed circuit.
Advantages: A number of innovative solutions have been used in the development, which have made it possible to increase the generation efficiency and implement the amplification mode of broadband pulses of various spectral composition, which makes it possible to increase the efficiency of new systems built on the basis of the developed source of ultrashort laser pulses, to create material processing systems with wider capabilities compared to existing systems.

The development has a high competitiveness because the declared characteristics are provided at a relatively low cost of the product. There are no analogues of this development in the Republic of Belarus.
